Payton grew up in a Christian home in North Texas as the oldest of one brother. He had read the Bible and heard the Gospel, but never grasped the true meaning of the Gospel until after moving 1000 miles from Texas upon graduating high school to pursue a career in Motorsports and attend IUPUI. During his junior year of college, Payton felt the call into ministry. He graduated with his Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from IUPUI in 2019 and began working full time as an engineer while pursuing ministry. He has served as a college ministry pastor and is currently pursuing his Masters of Divinity at Covenant Baptist Theological Seminary. His passion is to see many true disciples made and won to Christ through the power of God’s Word and the proclamation of the Gospel.
Payton married his beautiful wife, Elizabeth, in May 2020 and they had their first son
in November of 2021. He enjoys reading theology and church history, listening to music, trying new restaurants with his wife, enjoying all the outdoors has to offer, and creating great tasting BBQ. Elizabeth has her bachelors degree in Elementary education from the University of Indianapolis and she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and hiking with her husband and their three dogs.
